Terms of Use
By using the Geet apps or this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Geet.
1. You own your song
The lyrics, audio, cover art and video made from your brief belong to you, including for commercial use, subject to the terms of the music providers we use, which permit commercial use of their output. We keep a copy only to serve it to you and to visitors of your gift page. We may use anonymised, aggregate statistics, never your song itself, to improve the product.
2. Credits and prices
Geet is paid per song. One credit makes one song, which includes the lyrics, two takes, cover art, a gift page and a video. Credits are sold singly or in a pack of three, at the price shown to you before you pay. There is no subscription and credits do not expire. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when a credit or payment is returned.
3. Rules for briefs and lyrics
You may not use Geet to create:
- hate, harassment, threats or sexual content;
- false or defamatory statements about real people;
- imitations of real singers or public figures;
- content that mocks or disrespects any religion or deity;
- anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Roasts are friendly only. We check briefs and lyrics with automated moderation and tell you which line was blocked and why. Devotional templates are reviewed by people before release. We may refuse a request, or hide a song or gift page, that breaks these rules.
4. Gift pages and sharing
You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to use any photo you upload. Anyone with the link can open a gift page. Recipients and visitors can report a page; we review valid reports promptly and may hide a page or song.
5. AI disclosure
Songs are generated by AI and labelled as such. Do not remove the label when you redistribute a song, video or gift page. AI output can contain mistakes, including in the pronunciation of names; please read the lyrics before you approve them and listen before you share.
6. Age
You must be 13 or older to use Geet. If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission to make purchases.
7. Payments
Purchases are processed by Apple, Google or Razorpay under their own terms. Prices include applicable taxes where shown. We do not store your card or bank details.
8. Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account. We may suspend an account that repeatedly breaks these terms.
9. Availability
We work to keep Geet running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Song generation depends on third-party AI providers and may occasionally fail or be delayed; when a song fails, the credit is returned as described in the refund policy.
10. Liability
Geet is provided as is. To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer outside India, you keep the protections of the law of the country you live in.
12. Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will show the new version in the app. Questions: support@turtletechsai.com.
