Privacy Policy
Geet makes personalised songs from what you tell us about someone you love. That means you trust us with names, memories and sometimes photos. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to get it back or delete it. It covers the Geet mobile apps and this website, including gift pages.
What we collect and why

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your songs, lyrics, voice or photos to train AI models.
People you make songs about
When you make a song for someone, you give us details about them. Only share what you are comfortable with them hearing, and do not include sensitive information such as health conditions, financial details or government IDs. If someone has received a gift page and wants it taken down, they can use the report link on that page or write to us.
Gift pages
A gift page is reachable by anyone who has its link. Gift pages are not listed in search engines. On a gift page we record plays, reactions and any reply the visitor chooses to send, so the sender can see them. Visitors do not need an account.
Who processes data for us
We use these providers, each of which receives only what it needs for its task, under contract:
- Microsoft Azure: hosting, storage, lyric and image generation
- Google: music generation and push notifications (Firebase)
- ElevenLabs: backup music generation and English voice
- Sarvam AI: Indian-language speech
- Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat and Razorpay: purchases and payments
- PostHog: product analytics
- MSG91 and Twilio: one-time password SMS
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in India, the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the provider’s contractual commitments.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies. We use local storage to remember a referral link, and analytics to count visits and plays when analytics is enabled.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws, you can access, export, correct and delete your data, withdraw consent, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.

Children
Geet is for people aged 13 and older. Songs about children, made by their parents or guardians, are welcome. If you add photos of children, you confirm you are their parent or guardian.
AI-generated content
Songs are generated with AI from your brief. Every song carries a spoken “made with AI” note and a visible label on gift pages and videos. You own your song; see the Terms of Use.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will show the new version in the app and ask you to accept it. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
